Maternity Tactical Pant

These pants are super comfortable! The maternity panel is a little awkward, it’s definitely made for when you are closer to your due date but it works for my 22 week belly. One huge thing the pants need is belt loops! I ended up sewing my own on because I can’t work without my belt to clip my pager on! Just one suggestion! Overall would buy again!

Great pant!

I've been wearing V2 pants for a few years and I love them. I'm almost 7 months pregnant and I thought I would have to give up my V2's like I've had to do with so many other pants for the time being until I saw that First Tactical had maternity V2 pants! These pants are AMAZING. not only are they are fully functional and will grow with me as my bump grows, they are easily one of the most comfortable maternity items I own. I highly recommend them!

These would also be awesome if they had an A2 version (;

Maternity Tac Pants

First I want to thank first tactical for making a maternity pants, as a female patrol deputy I was nervous about what the I was going to wear in the jail when the time came. Now that I'm there, I have a love hate relationship with these pants. The waist line is way too low in the back and it feels like my butt crack is showing when I wear these. Also, I am not sure why they took away the front tigh pockets, I can understand the normal hand pockets but not those. Belt loops would also be extremely helpful. I hope that these pants continue to get modified to become the best they can be. I do love how closely they resemble the V2 pants.
PS, I have noticed that the V2 pants have gotten smaller in size about a year ago and the material is different, they start extremely tight and then stretch to a decent but slightly tighter fit. Just keep that in mind when ordering.

Needs More Stretch & Runs Small

I have to first applaud this company for taking the time and care to create a maternity pant for female LEO's in the first place. Myself and my supervisor spent a good amount of time trying finding quality work cargos as I am now off patrol and working the front desk/dispatch. I will say right away, I usually range from a size 6 to a size 10 (rarely) pre-pregnancy and I'm afraid I may have to size up to a 12 in these pants! For the curvy women who also workout/weightlift or tend to have a more hourglass shape, you may find these pants frustrating. You will deal with the usual uncomfortable squeezing of the buns and thighs that most companies can't seem to get right. On that note, I'd love for First Tactical to find a less rigid textile for this pant in the future. Secondly, you may find that the hemline where the actual pant meets the stretchy material (belly area) will dig into your belly when sitting down. This is an extremely important factor to consider if you find yourself sitting at a desk for hours. That hemline is the same height in the front as it in the back, and I'd really love to see that hemline lifted more in the back in order to accommodate the derriere (a stretcher fabric could remedy that). Finally, these side pockets need WAY more room. They are too flushed against my legs and an actual slouch pocket could really do well here. What that said, I have a size 12 on the way and I am curious to see how they feel. In the meantime, I will continue wearing the size 10 and see if it has any give over time. Thank you FT!
